Right to Information (kanun)

The Law on the Right to Information No. 4982, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 24.10.2003 and numbered 25269, entered into force on 24.04.2004. The "Regulation on the Principles and Procedures for the Implementation of the Right to Information Law", which regulates the principles and procedures for the implementation of this law, was published in the Official Gazette dated 27.04.2004. You can apply to submit your questions about the Freedom of Information Law and to use the right granted by the law in matters related to our University.

POINTS TO BE CONSIDERED BEFORE APPLYING

HOW TO APPLY

The following points should be considered in the applications. Applications made without complying with these issues will not be evaluated.

  • In the applications, the "Application Form" must be filled in completely. (Applications that do not have a name, address, signature and "T.R. Identity Number" are not taken into consideration.)
  • The requested information should be expressed clearly and understandably.
  • Depending on how the response to the application is requested, the e-mail address if requested electronically, the postal address if requested by mail or the fax number if requested by fax should be specified.
  • Our University is not responsible for the problems that may arise from the e-mail quota of the person requesting the information or the wrong typing of the e-mail address of the person requesting the information requested by e-mail.

ANSWERING APPLICATIONS

The period of access to information or documents upon application is fifteen working days. However, if the requested information and document are provided from another unit within the organization, access to the information and document is provided within thirty working days.

If the application is rejected, the applicant shall be informed of the reason for this decision and the remedies against it.
